Dojo Design Dynamics is PERFECT for you if:

  • You lead teams and want more presence under pressure.

  • You feel drained by conflicts that sap everyone’s energy.

  • You make important decisions and want clarity, not reactivity.

  • You want a more human culture WITHOUT sacrificing results.

  • You need practical tools, not just theory.

  • You value balance between performance and team wellbeing.

  • You have enough autonomy to implement changes in your area..

It’s NOT for you if:

  • You believe “pressure makes diamonds” and that constant strain equals leadership.

  • You’re looking for magic solutions that work on their own (without practice).

  • You see culture as a “nice to have,” not a core strategy.

  • You have zero autonomy to test new rituals with your team.

  • You only want theory — nothing you can actually use between meetings.

  • You’re not willing to invest 5–10 minutes a day.

  • You’re in acute crisis and need intensive consulting, not a book.

pragmatic, secular, and focused on practical philosophy

  • Results in 30 days

This is not about distant meditation. These are practices you use BETWEEN meetings. In the first month, you’ll notice things like: shorter meetings (up to 30% less time), 2x more productive conversations, fewer unproductive conflicts, and faster decisions with less second‑guessing.

  • Too practical to ignore

This book is made for people in the trenches — with 15 meetings a week. Each practice fits into 90 seconds. Each tool is meant to be used in your very next meeting. No time for long programs? No problem. This is for you.

  • Strong leaders earn loyalty. Weak leaders demand it.

How many leaders have you met who can stay calm in crisis, decide quickly, and still keep the team engaged? Rare. This book shows you how to become one of them — by system, by practice. Five years from now, your team won’t remember every deliverable. They’ll remember how safe you made them feel in the middle of chaos.

  • Minimal investment, real return

$32.99 USD for the book + PDF + practice tools is less than one happy‑hour night with colleagues. The return?

You rebuild your relationship with your own nervous system.

You stay centred even in storms.

Your team feels that — and believes in you.

It’s the safest leadership investment you’ll make this year.

Who created this

Portrait of Mark Araujo. An elegant man with a beard and shaved head wearing a blue suit, black shirt, and black shoes walking against a plain gray background.

Mark Araujo
Art Director | Graphic Designer | Aikido Instructor | Leadership & Culture Specialist

Mark has spent more than 20 years designing visual systems for global brands — from São Paulo to Australia and Spain. But his real training began on the mat.

He studied Aikido for over 13 years in São Paulo with Reishin Kawai Shihan (Aikikai – 8th Dan), the teacher who brought the art to Brazil. He taught adults and children and helped run one of Kawai Shihan’s dojos in São Paulo. Later he moved to Australia, continuing his training with teachers from different lineages — Jikou Sugano Sensei (Aikikai – 6th Dan, Sydney), Saburo Takayasu Sensei (Iwama – 7th Dan, Sydney), and Hanifa Leoni Macfarlane Sensei (Tomiki – 8th Dan, Hobart/Melbourne).

Studying Zen and meditation with Monja Coen — one of Brazil’s most respected Zen leaders — he learned a lesson he never forgot: “Technique matters, but tone matters more. If people feel safe, they learn. If they feel seen, they contribute.”

That insight from the tatami became the backbone of everything he creates and teaches. When he began advising leaders on organisational culture, he kept hearing the same question: “How do I apply this in real meetings? Between deadlines? Under pressure?”

This book is the answer: years of practice across Aikido lineages condensed into 108 pages + 10 cards you can use on Monday morning. It’s not Aikido theory. It’s the practical philosophy behind it, applied to the work you do every day.

What readers are saying

    A fresh lens on leadership

“Dojo Design Dynamics really landed for me as a seasoned leader who was looking for a refreshed way to think about leadership, team management, and culture. I'm not a martial artist myself, but the philosophy behind the book felt immediately relevant and surprisingly familiar in the best way.

What I found valuable was how it framed leadership through principles like awareness, balance, adaptability, and intentional response rather than control or force. That perspective gave me a new lens for thinking about how teams work, how culture is shaped, and how leaders can create better conditions for people to thrive.

The book spoke to me because it felt practical without being simplistic. It challenged me to reflect on my own leadership habits while also offering ideas that were grounded, memorable, and easy to apply in a business context.”

    Beautifully Designed and Deeply Practical

“This book helped me appreciate how Aikido principles can be applied beyond the dojo. The concept of flow, breath, presence, harmony, and using momentum rather than resisting force are presented in a way that feels practical and relevant to everyday life.

As someone early in my Aikido journey and drawn to Eastern philosophy, I found it especially valuable for applying these principles at work, leadership, running a business, and even my interactions with patients as a doctor.

The book is also aesthetically designed, easy to read, and genuinely enjoyable, with practical examples that make the concepts feel accessible and immediately applicable.

A worthwhile read for anyone interested in leadership, personal development, or applying timeless principles in modern life.”

  • Gustavo Ramos

    Retired Brazilian Army Colonel

    From philosophy to practice

“This book is essential today — it adapts and teaches the ancestral wisdom condensed in Aikido principles to make daily work more harmonious, balanced, and, as a result, more productive.

All through simple yet highly effective practices that only someone who has refined their energy in the dojo for years could conceive — now made accessible to any corporate team leader.”
